Just like everyone else, I love waffles too. Recently, I brought my mom over to Soft Launch Cafe & Desserts as it seems trending among the netizen. It was reported that Soft Launch Cafe & Desserts known for their waffles.

Let's see and taste on their specialty, shall we?

Cappuccino @ RM 10.00

Medium bodied cup of cappuccino to start up your day. Its been so long to be able to witness the latte art manage to stay on for quite sometime, again. 

Aglio Olio @ RM 16.00

Oh? This is the bomb. I love their Aglio Olio. Not too oily, al-dente pasta that is well-seasoned. A noticeable kick of heat. Overall, I would personally recommend this dish.

Fried Chicken Waffle @ RM 22.00

Savory and sweet? Protein and carbs? Allow me to present you this Fried Chicken Waffle that suits your hungry belly well. The chicken slices was well battered and fried, which gives off crispiness upon biting and juicy succulent meat that just wander around inside your mouth. 

Strawberry Waffle @ RM 19.00

There's nothing wrong for a waffle sandwiched with strawberries and fresh whipped cream. It is still tasty but my only wish is that they could add a dollop of ice cream within it or at the side of it - base on their selling price. I think it would be fantastic. IDK, just my opinion. 

Verdict

The coffee and the rest of the food items were fine. However, in my personal opinion, the waffle barely has its crispiness outside as I love my waffle to be firm (still can bite it apart, of course) and crispy on the outside.

Anyhow, Fried Chicken Waffle and Agio Olio is recommended to try!
