You heard of it, the word "softsrve" mention constantly everywhere without failure,
on Instagram, Facebook or whatever you name it.
So I grab this opportunity to give softsrve a visit
on how their ice cream taste like.

Front view of softsrve!

The front part of softsrve, which finished with the contemporary wood design !

softsrve counter.
So take your time to look through the menu.

Besides,
softsrve also sell Tapping Tapir, remix fruits in one bottle that will absolutely make you feel refreshing.

If you are on a tight budget or maybe on some other reasons, just grab yourself a free water.

Deep Chocolate - Truffles @ RM 12. The "deep chocolate" explains it all. Medium to Heavy dark choco taste! It would be more lovely if there's churros which I did not order.

Cereal Milk - Churros @ RM 11. I love their cereal-like taste in their ice cream, for me, it's better than Milk Cow which is heavily milk or creamy taste in it.

The trick behind their fog effect surround their ice cream cup is that, the larger cup is filled with
DRY ICE only- that gives out the fog effect. Then, cover it with the smaller cup which contains your softsrve ice-cream.
So, do not be fool that you will get a large portion of ice cream, yes?
See below.

Left (Larger Cup filled with dry ice for short duration of fog effect) & Right (smaller cup stack on the larger cup, which contains your lovely softsrve)

Awareness on dump your thrash in bin provided! #Thanksalot

Verdict: Best advice is to visit them as early as possible because Damansara Uptown is a place
which is almost impossible to get a parking spot.
Moreover, lot's of people will be in the shop, so you will need to wait for seats.

GreySkyMorning sounds promising and appeared to be very spot-on over the social medias, so I had decided to visit the place with my high school friends!

It shined so brightly on that day that it makes us crave for coffee & cakes even more !

Quick ! Let's get into the building cause it's burning hot here !

greyskymorning is neighbour to Food Industrie.

So, here we are! greyskymorning's front door glass, push to enter :D

Daily announcement on which beans are used.

This is the counter, any inquiries - just ask. wishing to drop tips? lay them in the jar.

Starting from Left: Nutella Sponge Cake (best seller), Carrot Cake and Banana Cake.

Beverages and its respective price.

Barista's concentration on brewing...

Stairway to upper floor.

Tip: If you planning to enjoy your cup of coffee in a slow pace, I suggest sitting at the
ground floor is better. Because the upper level tends to get very warm during noon.

When the sun goes down and the Pigs go home, the BIG BAD WOLF comes out to play...
That night was interesting, so I'v decided to visit the wolf and hear what it has to say about the pigs.

Three Little Pigs & THE BIG BAD WOLF is located in the Bangsar Village 1 mall,
it can be access by two doorways:
a) Via Bangsar Village 1 grocery mart. (Nearby the poultry section)
b) Via Bangsar Village 1 's parking lot. (Outdoor)

Inside the grocery mart.

Inside the grocery mart, it looks like this.

Otherwise, from the outdoor which is...
Front view via Outdoor Parking of the BV1.

Did not expect that many willing to hear what the wolf has to say about the pigs.
Waiting and waiting and waiting.

The restaurant provides a small space for the guests to settle down temporary while waiting to be seated by the restaurant manager.
Loving the interior, decorated with wallpapers and some props to keep us cool down.

Waiting area of the restaurant.

Right beside the waiting area, is the wine chamber. Wide range of wines available for sale.
Not to mention that, they promote their wine at a attractive rate everyday to attract the consumers.
*Rates are set according to the wine variety.

Wine Chamber.

Desserts!

The restaurant's bar!

The restaurant's menu.
 That night, I ordered:
-1 salad = ( Tonkatsu Salad)
-2 pasta(s)  = ( Alien Invasion) (Crispy Soft Shell Crab)
-1 burger[Main] = (Piggy Mighty Burger)
-1 rice[Asian] = (Pig Rolling In The Mud)
-1 dessert = (Divine Chocolate Sundae)

Alien Invasion (Creamy sauce floods around the spaghetti along with the slices of pork sausages and mushroom)

Piggy Mighty Burger ( Burger itself consists of sunny side up, pork patty, lettuce, cheese, mayo. Serve along side with fries and marinated salad)

Pig Rolling In The Mud ( Rice which served with pork slices and vege(s) - cover up with Japanese Curry)

Crispy Soft Shell Crab ( Similar to Creamy Carbonara, but this one is special with the crispy soft shell crab)

Tonkatsu Salad (Lettuce, Corns, Pork Slice, Cherry Tomatoes, Onions - dressed up with Teriyaki sauce + sesame oil )

Divine Chocolate Sundae (Vanilla ice cream glazed with chocolate and caramel syrup and topped with chopped peanuts)
I'm amazed that the restaurant was able to deliver food on my table way below than the expected waiting time despite the high turnover during peak hours.

The food in the restaurant are delicious, enjoyable and comes in great portion which satisfy the stomach capacity.
However, I personally think that the Divine Chocolate Sundae is a shame.
Wish that the restaurant can replace this menu item with Chocolate Molten Cake - that can be purchase in Chilli's restaurant - having Divine Chocolate Sundae in the restaurant might have the tendency of getting no sales at all in the dessert point of view, unless they increase the portion of it.

Moreover, if you want to have a drink session with friends or family, the restaurant also provides outdoor space for you to enjoy.

Another matters that hits silently was this awesome reserved seats for special guests.
Private space dining, zoning you out from others.

The price to dine here is reasonable and worth every penny you spend on it.

What should you do if you are after facing a tight-line schedule? Grab a stick of cigarette?
No. -"Cigarette(s) be like, "SHHHUUSSHH, you are leaving this world soon..." "

So, why not redeem yourself with a cup of coffee.

Anyway,

I went to try out coffees in Taman Tun Doctor Ismail (TTDI) - Artisan Roast Coffee,
which was placed near 1 Utama and is closer to the Penchala Link.
This cafe was placed in a strategic location whereby it is surrounded by variety of shop lots that are able to attract customers into the cafe.

Artisan's target market most likely ranging from Teens to Senior Executive, Locals to Foreigners.

Not to mention that, getting yourself a car park doesn't seems to be in your favor during day time (which is the peak hour(s) for every shops there), unless you are planning to drink coffee at night~

Artisan Roast Coffee -front view!

Remember I mentioned about getting yourself a PROPER car-park in peak hour(s) is flustering? Try double-park in front of the shop...

Below will be picture of WHAT's inside the Artisan Cafe.

With one step forward, first thing that caught everyone's sight is the pastries in the chiller.

Order HERE!

Don't Worry, Drink Coffee

The types of blend use to brew the beverages.

I love the coffee chart.

Various roasted beans display on the shelves for the customer to spot-on.
Artisan Roast Coffee did handbrew their coffee beans!
Red Espresso
Wowga
Bakasso
Gachami
Kangocho
Montecillo

They use Mirage Triplette at Artisan TTDI to extract the espresso. The machine operates with semi-automatic functions.

Apparently, the staff will serve right on your table right now !

The atmosphere inside the cafe is relaxing with huge art work on the wall, with small tables placed around the space.
However, I prefer the outside environment of the cafe whereby you can sit down, relax and enjoy your  coffee with the presence of natural light !

Red Latte - RM 10.00 ; I love it because it gives out the tea aroma although the beverage has been mix with steamed milk!

Cheesecake - RM 10.00 ; I love the cream cheese texturing, the chocolate layer and the cheese cake.

Spinach mushroom quiche - RM 7.90 ; how i wish they serve quiche lorraine !

Caffe Latte! RM10.00

This makes the threee of it ! From the left, Caffe Latte, Red Latte, and cheese cake.

Last but not least, the Americano RM 6.00 ; i could feel a glimpse of spicyness (taste) in the coffee. Or maybe not.
That's about it ! I did enjoy have coffee(s) there, especially the Red Latte, the aroma did stained in my taste bud for eternity and it was really recommended to chill with buddies over there!
The environment is crazy and the location is phenomenal when you can simply just leave the cafe for the nearest shopping mall which is OneUtama.

Oh by the way, Artisan Roast Coffee in TTDI is hiring ! If you are interested, do call them at your will.
