Kingstreet Café

by - Tuesday, January 26, 2016

Without words from my friend, absolutely there's no chance for me to discover this cafe due to its location is at the corner of the furniture store and had some trees cover its sight. Despite having a tall noticeable signboard at the main gate, frankly speaking, it still doesn't seem to be potent enough to attract fussy & picky customers like me, unless those who have the intention to visit furniture store, will most likely to discover this cool gem.

No need to worry about the parking space as the space for it is huge, so take your time to park your vehicle and walk towards Kingstreet Cafe. Oh, its free of charge too.
Timeless yet classic old English door, as the front entrance - elegantly stated "Kingsteet Cafe - Est 2015".
Yes - true enough that Kingstreet Cafe established not long ago, founded by a talented young man named Chew and several of his partners, to come up with the concept of elegant and classic-looking cafe that able to reach out to all customers with delicious food and fresh brewed coffee. Now, customers can slowly decide on which furniture they want while sipping fresh brewed coffee from Kingstreet Cafe.
There are plenty of seats to cater huge amount of customers, one of the biggest space I ever seen in a cafe. If indoor isn't what you want, you can chill outdoor (al-fresco) seats are also available.

Without any further ado, I would like to share with you the things I had in Kingstreet Cafe :)

a) Honey Glazed Barbeque Chicken (RM 22.00)
Grilled chicken has been always my favorite so I decided to order this one. A plate of grilled chicken glazed in honey barbeque sauce served with a side of  fried potatoes and mixed vegetables. I was delicious but I wish there more vegetables on it !

b) Toast-gasm (RM 15.00)
Toast-gasm is indeed no joke as it really gives you great sensation in your mouth because this plate of sinful toasted brioche is drizzled and torched in gula melaka served with pandan ice cream. Sweet, crispy and delicious. I preferred this over Haraju Cube because this is cheaper, crispier, tastier and sweeter.

c) Cappuccino (RM 9.90)
It is a mandatory to have coffee by your side whenever you visit a cafe, with that, I started with a cup of cuppa joe - Kingstreet uses their house blend coffee beans that consists of 3 types of origin which has Sumatra Mandheling, Brazil & Colombia. Resulted in a total smooth and a balance cup of coffee every sip. The foam was very foamy and elastic, well froth!

d) Hand brew Coffee - Single Origin (RM 14.00)
I can never get enough of coffee so I decided to try their hand brew coffee. This hand brewed uses beans from Indonesia Toraja South Sulawesi which typically has hint of earthy, ashy, woody and full-bodied.

Besides all the above item, there are many more fantastic items to try in the near future. The owner is kind enough to share his knowledge with me about his journey and how this place started from nothing to something. Will be back for the Toast-gasm!
