Chef K Bandar Bukit Puchong

Going to share with you another affordable location that you can try during the weekdays if you fancy curry noodle in a uniquely small size restaurant. Patrons claimed that the dishes did represent the taste of Ipoh - subtle in appearance yet packed with flavors as you eat.
Behind every plate in Chef K Restaurant, is the new heir taking over station - continuing the business of the Chinese classic meal. A confined space for preparation but somehow I find it cosy as a amateur cook (a dream space that I would like to have for my business one day).

Dry Curry Chicken Rice (RM 8.50 for Small, RM 9.50 for Large)
A rice served with dry-style curry chicken topped with fried shallots and two slice of cucumber. Great texture and flavor from the dry chicken, it reminds me of the old days having a nice comfort food in Ipoh town with the fantastic curry gravy.

Roasted Pork Belly Curry Noodles (RM 8.50 for Small, RM 9.50 for Large)
Noodle of your choice, filled with home-cook curry and topped with bean curd skin, roasted pork belly and assorted greens. Surface might seemed light in terms of taste but it certainly has the taste of Ipoh style curry that often took advantage of the santan mixture.

Roasted Pork Belly
Whenever I visit the restaurant, I would add on another plate of roasted pork belly (siew yuk). Though the overall taste can be a little underwhelming, but it has a very crisp layer of skin that seasoned well to compliment the pork meat.

Verdict
If you are looking forward to Ipoh-style noodle dishes, light-medium taste or perhaps new location to dine in, this will be a place for you.
