Penang Rojak @ New Lucky (Seri Petaling) Restaurant
Most of you heard the word, "Rojak" in your life as a Malaysian right?
Rojak is a traditional fruit and vegetable salad dish commonly found in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
"Rojak" in Malay term is known as mixture.
There are many variations in serving Rojak, so Penang Rojak is one of my favorite variation!
I found one stall that produces remarkable Penang Rojak in Sri Petaling's restaurant.
Lovely eh? One plate of Penang Rojak costs RM 5.50 ! Worth the value! |
To be honest, every variations of Rojak are more or less- containing similar ingredients, such as cucumber, guava, premature papaya slice, tau fu pok & anything that the person who is making has to offer!
I realized that the dressing used in this Penang Rojak is very sticky that brings out a proper strength of texture and taste as well. This dressing has moderate to none level of spiciness so its suitable for everyone's consumption.
Moreover, the best part of every Rojak dish is to have the prawn crackers! It is crispy and tasty at the same time.
You should dig up the crackers together with the mix fruits and dressing, then eat em'.
Deep into the dressing! |
