Hello! After you have watch this video, here is the summary of my trip!

Place: Chiang Mai (CNX) & Chiang Rai (CEI)

Overall Weather During Trip: Gloomy, Moody and Rain
Trip Duration: 4 day(s) 3 night(s)

Total Expenses in this trip:

*RM  1 500 (4 days expenses in Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai) (Average RM 550/person)

*RM 264 (Airbnb @ https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/11949794) (Average RM 71/person per night)

*RM 1211.70 (Flight ticket with Airsia, for 3 person, without INSURANCE and stacked with promotion period) (Average RM 403.90/person)

My note to you:
*Expect Northern Thai food cuisine, it is very different compared to Southern Thai's.

*Average price for decent food (Pad Thai, Som Tum, Khao Niao) is 30-40 baht. Moo ping, coconut ice cream and assorted kuihs is around 10 - 30 bahts. EXCEPT tom yum gong is around 100 baht.

*Consider GrabCar service over tuktuks and roddaeng (red car, similar to tuktuk). In some scenario, such as going up to Doi Suthep Temple, you will need to take roddaeng near Chiang Mai University.

*Use sunblock.

*IF you want to visit Chiang Rai with minimal costs possible, purchase ticket under Green Bus Thailand, not private tour.

That's all for the tips.
For itinerary plan, I will upload it here some time later...

Enjoy!

When I was at home, the grass is always greener on the other side - People were saying how wonderful it is to be here, in the garden. These greens are such alluring and there's noway that you can resist such charm.
Before your parents exist into this world, Taiping Lake Gardens used to be a wealth-pool for miners, before it become the actual public garden in 1800. More over, average annual rainfall is about 4,000 mm in Taiping while the Peninsular's average is around 2,000 mm - 2,500mm. The unusual rainfall led to a fertile growth of flora and century-old rain trees in Taiping Lake Gardens, today.
" Ethereal Jaunt! "
#Throwback to the past where my Grandpop always brought me here to take a stroll and have fun in the playground. Then, there were many ice cream vendors along the pedestrian pavement - that's where I got crazy about it. I would buy them in 5 or 6 qty. I miss the mini melts ice cream by Nestle especially because its like a tiny-sized of ball ice cream. I'm sure you had that as well when you are a kid. I think that the production for mini melts ice cream no longer available in the market today...
Yes, I do recall that the air last time was way more fresher than today. Today's air contested with haze which produced all the way from Indonesia. Not blaming but seriously, they need to stop on open-burning method, which is inconsiderate act.

After done taking a stroll around the green, my mom brought us to the nearest Taiping Hawker Centre before heading back home.
They are pretty similar to all the old buildings in KL, isn't?

It did not took us long to locate the hawker centre, and at that point onward, craving for the local delicacies is definitely a must.
*Above, is the vast variety of local snacks, in Malaysia we call it "Kuih". Each and every kuih have their own lore, taste and method of preparation - this is what makes the Malaysian delicacies so unique. The seller of this store definitely did a good job for recommending which is best based on my taste buds.

*Above, I ordered (One) plate of Char Kuey Teow and (One) bowl of shaved Ice cream. My favorite is on the Char Kuey Teow because its super delicious which I barely able to describe it. This Char Kuey Teow, FYI, its the wet-version, so, not too wet nor dry - one word for it: PERFECT. Also, not many chefs able to control the texture(wet/dry) of the kuey teows. Once again, kudos for this one!
As for the shaved Ice cream, its very disappointing because there's no flavor in it. I felt that the person who made this bowl, is extremely stingy or maybe, it is meant to be like this???

Postlude...~
Its very unfortunate that I have to visit many places in a short time, but HEY, its okay! Let's do this again when there's sufficient time and cash!
I'm still young and there's long way to go! NO worries!

Rain rain go away, come again another LIFE!

*This is the end of Abode of Grace(<-Click) blog posts. Stay tune for more posts in the future. Thank you for waiting!

Previously, I mentioned about the book that I bought and its the chance for me to utilized it by going on a real trip rather than just staring at the book like nobody's business. The location written on the book seems legit, yeah, absolutely legit.

Departed from my hometown, took about an hour plus - to get to Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve despite using route (shortcut) that you can never imagine where Waze could possibly lead you to.
Seriously, the route that I followed is seriously hidden...

In general, Kuala Sepetang are known for their coal production as the source to the productions are from mangrove plants. The growth rate of these mangrove plants in Kuala Sepetang are pretty high in numbers too.
On the other hand, Sepetang Valley is a place for fishermen for making end-meets in their daily routine.
The moment I stepped out from the car, the first thing I could smell was the burnt coal, then my mind be like, "it would be great if we could enjoy steamboat by using coal now". Yes, I preferred steamboat using coal as heat source because it provides heat (obviously...) and it gives out an unique aroma or sensation that stimulates your appetite.

I wish the mangrove could protect me from the rays of sunlight... It was warm on that day, got myself sweating endlessly till I get into the car! What's worse is when there's haze around too!

In the swamp, you won't be walking cluesless, fret not, there's several information boards erected along the pathway. You learn something new as you go.
Several boards were in severe damaged, what a shame, there's no maintenance to it as they are collecting cash upon walk-in entries.

I thought the entire walk-able area is small, little did I knew, it has long track. Took me 15 to 20 minutes to complete discover everything in the mangrove area.

I did not know there are a few numbers of large-size hut deep inside the forest until I walked in.
These huts are designed for few purposes so it can fulfil the convenience of the guests, if applicable - otherwise the door remain shut at all times.

So, should you explore what's beneath your own homeland?
It all lies on your decision.
Well, its good if you have the initiative to explore the hidden jewels scattered around your homeland.
Well, its bad if these hidden jewels fall into public exposure and the beauty will decay over time.
You decide !

How to get there?
-Open Waze (Available in Android / Appstore), navigate Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve, Kampung Kuala Sepetang.
-Due to multiple duplication of location, you should double-check where it leads you, by dragging towards the final point & you will be fine.

At the entrance.
-Unfortunately, visitors must pay at the gate before proceed. At first impression, the fees per person is ridiculously pricey (RM 10 for an adult, if I'm not mistaken) (RM 5 for kids and seniors) ~
-For my case, you should approach to the staff in nice manner stating that the price is pricey, and slowly tell them that you are from [any part of the place in Perak] .
-I'm not saying that lying is good but every trip deserve a proper budget, but hey, if you have no issue with the fees, then probably you may ignore this hint.
Also, the fact that I'm based from Perak ^_^

Upcoming post that relates to this;
Yes, there will be one more post which relates to the first Abode of Grace post and this.

-Taiping Lake Gardens(Posted on 4/10/15)

Opportunity to take a shot in narrow road for vehicles.
A planned trip back to my hometown, just to evade from all the nonsense that I felt in the hectic life. The past two days over there were nothing but sense of belonging is still strong to me, after all - I'm originated from there originally .

-> Overview
This place is called Pantai Remis, where I used to romp all over the childhood scene, here. Those days were priceless and infinite because as a young and immature child, the daily routine is an infinite loop , for instance; eat, play and sleep - repeat. Happy go lucky and carefree, I would say.

Ah, I remembered my grandpop would purchase Vitagen in bulks just to make me happy, otherwise I would bang my head at the wall which led me as a slow learner today...
*Those who know me and reading this right now, you know how shi*t I am*
Speaking of headbutt, my mother told me that I managed to shattered the view mirror of a Volvo car last time LOL! even other family members supported to the evidence~~ gosh!
You know, the quality of a Volvo car is extremely high, that's why they are known for their safety features but hey, I managed to shattered one.

As years passed, the community grew which led to high density in this area. Never before there's traffic light in the streets but as I mentioned, as time passed, the area has gotten populated - traffic lights are built to control the traffic to avoid any fatal...

The best supermarket back then... No such company as AEON, Tesco or whatsoever.

-> Foodies
20 years down the road, the food has never change! The food sold here are mostly the classic ones, for instance; roasted pork meat, rice with kaya, steamed bread and so on. No commercial food and drinks sold here because its pricey. Any modern food that the seller trying to sell, most probably will be reject by the community due to their differs of lifestyle, income and perception towards contemporary food.

On my return, I manage to fixed my cravings such as roasted pork meat, Indian noodle of Chinese style, steamed breads and seafood!

One best reason to live here is the price of their food, super duper cheap! Nothing can beat down the price of rural areas! More over, food in every states, have their very own twist! That's the reason why you should backpack around Malaysia, to discover the vast of variation in terms of taste and aroma!

->Bonus
Apart from all above, this hometown of mine, specialized on seafood productions. Tons of factory exporting seafood products to all over the world. This business was lucrative a decade back but it seems to subside in recent context. Life is tough when demands from people change frequently.

The main transportation here are bicycle and motorbike. It is very convenient and cost effective as well, if you are traveling frequently from one distance to another.

There's one area caught my attention. Medium size wheat field and I decided to take some pictures!
Riding along the field is what you should do when you are in such place and environment! Also felt very fortunate to pick up riding skill on motorbike when I was age 14 - however, only allowed to ride in low dense area. *sob*

Time flies, people change.
Most of the neighbors that I used to know, relocate their home.
Good vibes decay over time and slowly this area is filled with illegal immigrants.

Upcoming posts !
I will be posting up 2 different post of the places I went so... stay tune !

1- Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve, Kuala Sepetang.

2- Taiping Lake Gardens

Hey, what'dup readers - Here's another new blog post as of December.
A post regarding Singapore. Nothing much, only pictures could express a thousand words.

Sea in between Johor and Singapore.

Traffic congestion

Someone who is managing the guest's seats.

Singapore's public transportation (MRT/LRT) has become essential and beneficial to their citizen as well as for the tourists.

X'mas Sales.

Fascinating street market like never before.

Capturing lightstreak in Orchard Road, but still have long way to go.

Tourists, citizen enjoying Orchard Road street due to celebration of Xmas Eve.

A group of vocalist(s), sang Xmas Song.

OMG, a PS4 booth in Orchard Road where everybody can play!

Look similar to Clarke Quay...

I could see some architecture design under the bridge, brilliant - if only I take photo from different point of perspective ^^.

Merlion !

Gardens by the Bay

Chinatown.

Lightstreak.

Night life in Clarke Quay is awesome.

So basically, went there for 3 Days and 2 Nights.
Almost travel the whole Singapore thanks to the public transport's availability, efficiency and convenience.

Spent est:
 800SGD , that includes;

A) Accomodation for 3 days 2 night @ Fragrance Hotel  [http://www.fragrancehotel.com/]

B) Food & Drinks :
-[Basic Needs]Average cost: 3-6$, Chicken rice, Soup Noodle & other local cuisine)
-[Craving/Unnecessary] Average Cost: 1-20$, on ice cream, White wine & other delicious desserts)

C) Transportation
15SGD for a transportation card similar to Touch'n'Go, able to use for bus and SMRT/SLRT, last for 3 days!

D) Items
Items such as bag, shirt, and any other related will cost from 5 to 25$ SGD if you are on a budget, otherwise ...

Author's note:
I personally think that, 3D2N is not enough for me to enjoy this trip, its way to short for me whereby I need to visit so many places in one-go.
Streets, city and town hustle at all times because it's a high density country- its sort of "alive" even though it is late at night which makes me like it.
Public transportation in SG makes every one's life easier to live in because it is convenient to move from one place to another.Speaking of public transport, I remember when i arrived in a station, I saw one young man was trying to pick a fight with an old man, I think that the old man hand-held item triggered the young man temper while walking in the crowd, the young man pissed and strip off the old man's hand-held item.
This has lead to seeking crowd's attention...
Safety wise, I do not have to worry much when walking around in a crowd blindly with my phone on my hands :) however, danger can happen at any time and any where thus, no one should let their guard down. On the other hand, r  lots of *random wild* immigrant living in SG which makes me think, what the hell happen in Singapore right now? This issue had give me a similar thoughts or impression like what I towards Malaysia, Overall, Singapore is still a better country than *you know what country with famous black-out tricks*
